Turn any outlet into a smart outlet — without replacing your wiring, hiring an electrician, or downloading a dozen apps.

The Linkind Matter Smart Plug uses the Matter protocol, the new universal smart home standard backed by Apple, Google, Amazon, and Samsung. That means one plug works seamlessly across every major platform — Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings — and stays compatible no matter which ecosystem you use now or switch to in the future.

Setup takes under 3 minutes. Plug it in, scan the QR code from your preferred smart home app, and you're done. No hub required if you use the free AiDot app. To control via Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, or SmartThings, a Matter-certified controller (HomePod, Echo Dot, Nest Hub, or SmartThings Hub) is required.

What you can do with it:

  • Turn devices on and off remotely from anywhere
  • Set schedules and timers — coffee maker on at 6am, off at 9am
  • Control with voice via Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant
  • Automate based on time of day, routines, or triggers
  • Monitor and reduce energy usage on connected devices

Works anywhere power does: Lamps, fans, space heaters, coffee makers, phone chargers, holiday lights, garage equipment — if it plugs into a standard 110V outlet and powers on automatically, this plug can make it smart.

4 plugs. One box. One price. At $49.99 for a 4-pack, that's less than $13 per outlet — a fraction of what hardwired smart switches cost, with zero installation required.

Step 3 — Open the app and select "Add Device" or "Add Accessory."

Step 5 — Assign a name and room. Start automating.

Note: Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings require a Matter-certified controller hub (HomePod Mini, Echo Dot 4th gen or later, Nest Hub, or SmartThings Hub). The free AiDot app works without any hub.

FAQ

Q: Does this work with my iPhone?

A: Yes. It works natively with Apple Home and Siri via the Matter protocol. A HomePod Mini or Apple TV (4th gen or later) is required as a home hub for full Apple Home functionality.

Q: Do I need a hub?

A: Not if you use the AiDot app — it connects directly via Wi-Fi. If you want to control via Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, or SmartThings, you'll need a Matter-certified controller for that platform.

Q: Does it work on 5GHz Wi-Fi?

A: No. These plugs require 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Most routers broadcast both — just make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network during setup.

Q: Can I use it with multiple platforms at the same time?

A: Yes. Matter allows a single device to be connected to multiple ecosystems simultaneously.

Q: What's the maximum wattage?

A: 15 amps / 1800 watts. Do not use with high-draw appliances like electric dryers, large air conditioners, or electric water heaters.

Q: How many plugs are in the box?

A: Four (4) plugs, all identical.

Q: Can I set a schedule?

A: Yes. Schedules, timers, and automation routines are available through all supported apps.

Q: Will it work if my internet goes out?

A: Matter devices communicate locally on your home network, so basic on/off control continues to work without internet. Remote access and voice control require an active connection.
