WHO THIS LIGHT IS BUILT FOR
IN THE FIELD — BACKCOUNTRY HUNTERS AND HIKERS
Breaking down meat in the dark. Setting up a wall tent after sunset. Finding gear in a bag at 2am. 2,500 lumens lights up your entire camp. The freestanding base sits on any flat surface. The USB output charges your inReach, your headlamp, or your phone when the power bank is in your pack. This is the light you wish you'd had on every trip where you were fumbling with a headlamp.
ON THE JOB SITE — CONTRACTORS AND TRADESPEOPLE
30 years of electrical work taught us one thing — you can never have enough light. This light magnets to your truck frame, hangs from a joist, or stands on a subfloor. High mode for rough-in work, low mode when you're finishing. Rechargeable via USB so there are no batteries to chase down at the supply house. Built tough enough to live in a tool bag.
IN THE GARAGE — DIY AND AUTOMOTIVE
Snap it to your engine bay on steel surfaces, position it under a hood, or prop it on the floor pointing up at a suspension component. The 180-degree swivel lets you angle the beam exactly where the work is. The USB output means it doubles as an emergency phone charger when you're stuck on the side of the road at night.
IN THE HOME — EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
Power goes out. The flashlight is missing. This light charges from any USB port — your car, your solar kit, your laptop. A full charge provides hours of runtime at low mode. Keep one in the garage, one in the truck, one in the emergency kit. Your family will thank you the first time you need it.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How long does the battery last on a full charge?
A: On high mode (2,500 lumens) expect approximately 3–5 hours of continuous use. On low mode runtime extends significantly — typically 8–10 hours. Battery life depends on temperature and usage pattern. For extended backcountry trips, the USB input means you can recharge it from your solar kit, power bank, or vehicle.
Q: Can I charge my phone from this light?
A: Yes. The built-in USB output port lets you charge phones, GPS units, or any USB device directly from the light's battery. Note that the light itself does not operate while charging a device — it functions as a power bank in that mode.
Q: Will the magnets stick to my truck?
A: If your truck has a steel body and steel hood, yes — the magnets hold firmly. If you have an aluminum-bodied truck (F-150, Ram 1500 with aluminum bed, etc.) the magnets will not adhere to those panels. For aluminum surfaces use the freestanding base or the integrated hook.
Q: How do I charge it?
A: Plug the included 5-foot USB cable into any USB power source — wall charger, car charger, laptop, power bank, or our Backcountry Solar Kit. Charging time is approximately 3–4 hours from empty.
Q: Can I use it in the rain?
A: This light is designed for job site and field use but is not rated as fully waterproof. Keep it out of direct rain and standing water. It handles light moisture and humid conditions well.
Q: Is it bright enough for a large work area?
A: At 2,500 lumens on high mode it illuminates a substantial work area — a standard garage bay, a wall tent interior, or an engine bay fully. For very large spaces consider supplementing with additional lights or our solar security lights for exterior coverage.
Q: What's the difference between high and low mode?
A: High mode delivers the full 2,500 lumens — use this for detailed work and dark environments. Low mode reduces output significantly to extend battery life — use this for ambient lighting or overnight use in camp.
Q: Can I pair this with the Backcountry Solar Kit?
A: Absolutely. The solar kit's INIU 20,000mAh power bank charges this work light via USB. For a multi-day backcountry trip the combination gives you continuous lighting and device charging powered entirely by the sun.
